Hardware
Installation
Although things may seem okay, certain hardware related issues can hide for some time before wreaking havoc on your machine.
Even some issues that seem like they are software related can end up pointing to a major hardware problem. Whether your computer issue is obviously hardware related or not, we will get to the root of your computer’s problem the first time and get it fixed properly.
Repair
Motherboard repair is a special part of what we do at Wisp.
These services involve a significant period of time and skill to complete. During our diagnostic phase we will inform you of why we have selected this service beyond our regular hardware installation. Some examples of these services include, but are not limited to, charging port replacements, reflowing and soldering of any kind on motherboards.
Motherboard Replacement
Computer not coming on no matter what you do?
Does the laptop seem to have a life of its own, only working when you tap it in just the right way? For that category of "other," often we can blame the motherboard. Maybe that one-out-of-a-thousand diode, transistor, capacitor, or IC has failed. Maybe the graphics processor has a bad solder joint from overheating. For those occasions, replacing the entire motherboard becomes the ultimate solution.
Software
File Restoration
Have a few specific files that need reviving?
Did you accidentally reformat your computer without grabbing that important document? Have a computer crash without saving pictures of your newborn? We offer free diagnostics to confirm if we will be able to recover the files, burn up to one (1) USB flash drive worth of data (approximately 64GB) or as much as we can fit onto your external storage. The more information we have about what we are looking for, the better.
Operating System (OS) Service

(This price does not include the OS, though we can source a copy for you.) This service also covers OS software repairs due to corrupt/damaged system files and more.
