Some popular models include the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S24, as well as the iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 series.
Parts that are not in stock will need to be ordered and a deposit will need to be placed on the cost of the repair. Part deposits are non-refundable. If requested, we will provide you with tracking information on part orders when available.

Wisp repairs most cellular devices on the market today. We service a wide range of phone brands, including Apple, Samsung, LG, and Google. We do not offer services on Motorola phones.

These are the most common Apple phone repairs, but we diagnose and work on just about anything.
Frequently Asked Questions
For most standard phone repairs (screen, battery, charge port, etc.), data will be retained. In instances of liquid damage or extreme physical damage, there is a risk that data could be lost, but Wisp will never remove or alter any data on your device without your express permission.
Most standard phone repairs take about 30 minutes to 2 hours once the part is in stock. For many devices, this means the repair can be done the same day you bring it in. If we need to order a part for your device, you will be informed at check-in and given a time estimate for the repair based on the anticipated part arrival date. We often receive parts the day after they are ordered to minimize turnaround time.
Common Phone Problems
- Charger won’t fit: Phones take a lot of abuse in our pockets, and dirt and lint can accumulate in the charge port. As you plug in your phone, that dirt gets compacted until your charger will no longer fit properly. If this happens, bring in your phone for a complimentary cleaning. Do not try to dig anything out of the port, as it is very easy to damage the delicate charge port.
- Black blob on screen: If you dropped your phone and now there is a black blob in the display, you are seeing damage to the LCD or OLED layer in your phone’s display. A screen replacement is typically all that is needed to resolve this issue. Bring your phone in, and we can provide a screen replacement quote.
- Screen lifting off phone: Sometimes, when batteries degrade, they will swell to the point of pushing the screen off of your phone. If this happens, do not push down on the screen! Bring the device into Wisp as soon as you can for a full diagnostic and repair. A swollen battery is a dangerous battery!
- Phone dying quickly: Your phone dying quickly is a very common sign that your battery needs to be changed. We can diagnose and replace your battery.
Data Transfer
If you put your SIM card in another phone, your text messages, contacts, and other data will not transfer. SIM cards today primarily transfer cellular service to a different compatible device. If you need data transferred from one device to another, Wisp will be happy to help.
Contacting you about your repair
Wisp will typically try to collect an alternate contact number from you so we can provide you with updates on your repair. If there is no other number we can contact, we will provide a time estimate for the repair so you know when to return for your device.
Jailbreaking and Rooting
Wisp does not offer jailbreaking or rooting of any device.
